About the Role
Provide support for Integrated Facilities and Property Management clients and internal stakeholders related to the optimization of JLL managed services operations and sourcing strategies. Be a subject matter expert in pricing negotiations, pricing structures, and employee wage negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver market, supplier, and operational intelligence of services operations.
- Identify and lead appropriate field resources to execute strategic initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert in JLL sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and program management.
- Act as a subject matter expert in pricing negotiations, pricing structures, and employee wage negotiations.
- Analyze large datasets in Excel to derive conclusions.
- Negotiate union wage contracts and wage increases with suppliers.
- Collaborate with clients and Jones Lang LaSalle Sourcing, Facility, and Property Management teams to drive immediate and sustained client benefits.
- Perform periodic market trend analysis in specific categories, analyzing supplier base and industry changes.
- Report analysis to Supply Chain and business stakeholders in a client-ready format.
- Manage the implementation, coordination, and communication of regional and national programs.
- Support the Category Management team’s supplier relationship and performance programs with key suppliers.
- Provide management, instruction, and follow-up for operations teams' RFP/bid, contracting, and operational processes.
- Manage internal and external customer expectations proactively.
- Run the RFP process, negotiate scope and price with partners, and determine the best partner for client needs.
- Present RFP packages to the Account Team and/or Client.
- Ensure compliance with JLL’s sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, risk management programs, and ethics.
- Establish relationships with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure contractual terms comply with standards and are formally reviewed and approved.
- Establish work priorities, assign deliverables, and resolve issues with Operations teams to assure client satisfaction.
- Manage Corrective Action Programs or supplier relations discussions.
- Support and assist in the development of diversity programs according to client and company requirements.
- Mentor and educate suppliers through meetings.
- Participate in and provide leadership to Preferred Supplier performance review meetings.
- Support JLL e-commerce procurement initiatives.
- Assist in Sourcing Planning.
- Participate in savings initiative discussions and relay information to JLL partners.
- Run Quarterly Business Reviews with JLL Partners.
Requirements
- Excellent Inter-personal skills, Organization skills, Strong Analytical Ability, Proven ability to lead teams in a decentralized environment.
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year university.
- 3+ years of strategic sourcing or related experience.
- Project management and business transitions experience preferred.
- Data analytics and/or proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS Office applications.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check for any convictions directly related to the duties and responsibilities (Columbia, SC ordinance).
