About the Role

This role leads an integrated communications, events, and talent management strategy across EMEA for Disney+, helping shape how the platform connects with audiences, media, talent, and industry stakeholders. Reporting into the VP Marketing, DTC EMEA, you will drive the visibility, reputation, and cultural relevance of Disney+ across the region. You will collaborate with various teams to support business priorities and audience growth, and lead a team of communications professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver communications, events, and talent strategies supporting Disney+ business priorities, content launches, and audience growth across EMEA.
  • Lead integrated campaigns maximizing impact across earned, owned, and shared channels in partnership with Marketing, Social & Influencer, and Content teams.
  • Shape and deliver high-profile events, premieres, screenings, talent tours, experiential activations, and executive appearances across the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, creators, talent representatives, production partners, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic counsel on reputation management, issues preparedness, and crisis communications.
  • Partner with regional and US teams to ensure EMEA priorities are represented within global campaigns and launches.
  • Utilize insights, data, and performance measurement to improve campaign effectiveness and demonstrate business impact.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 15, fostering an inclusive environment for thriving performance.
  • Manage agency partnerships, budgets, and resources for high-quality delivery and strong ROI.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing communications expertise to support business objectives and organizational change.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading communications within entertainment, media, consumer brands, or agency environments.
  • A track record of delivering high-impact, multi-market communications campaigns and integrated audience engagement strategies.
  • Experience working within complex, matrixed organizations and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions and markets.
  • Strong knowledge of media relations, talent management, events, social and influencer ecosystems, and reputation management.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams and managing agency partnerships.
  • Excellent relationship-building, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and measure success.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to inclusion, continuous learning, and developing others.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, drive change, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
