This position involves hanging specialty product on smokehouse racks and performing various tasks related to food production in a safe environment.

Hang specialty product on smokehouse racks.
Perform grinder head checks, scaling, measuring, washing product, and recording information.
Set up and remove various machines and clean metal detectors.
Remove full racks, scale product, and enter information into the computer.
Empty inedible pans and barrels.
Perform general housekeeping duties.
Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
Perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
Complete all required paperwork and SAP functions.
Perform any other work assigned by management.
Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.

Must be able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds at eye level and above.
Must be able to push 900-pound racks.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level with a minimum of 40 pounds frequently.
Willing and able to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously.
Willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
Willing and able to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.
Willing and able to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours.
Willing and able to distinguish between basic shades and colors.
Willing and able to climb stairs several times per hour.
Willing and able to work in wet and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.
