About the Role
SAR Academy is seeking dedicated Kitchen Staff to support daily food service operations for its co-educational day school in Riverdale, NY. This role involves assisting with meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient dining environment for students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and assembling meals according to menus and dietary guidelines
- Ensure food is properly portioned and presented
- Serve students and staff in an organized and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in preparation and serving areas
- Follow food safety protocols including proper handling, storage, and labeling
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
