Responsibilities

  • Strategically partner with and influence Product, Sales, and Deal Strategy on new products, pricing and packaging, and emerging revenue models.
  • Own end-to-end oversight of the order-to-cash lifecycle, spanning billing, collections, and revenue recognition, including process design, controls, and cross-functional handoffs.
  • Lead the revenue close operating model, with governance over reconciliations, analytics, controls, reporting quality, and predictable execution across monthly and quarterly cycles.
  • Lead transformation initiatives by partnering with IT to define and execute the roadmap for revenue systems, data, automation, and AI-enabled workflows across the revenue and order-to-cash ecosystem.
  • Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing global organization and create scalable ways of working that can support future growth, complexity, and organizational change.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across revenue accounting operations, technical revenue, order-to-cash, controllership, or adjacent finance functions.
  • Big 4 background and meaningful time in a public company, high-growth SaaS, software, cloud, or technology environment.
  • Deep expertise in ASC 606, technical revenue accounting, including complex contract structures, variable consideration, and policy interpretation in evolving commercial environments.
  • Strong command of end-to-end order-to-cash processes and cross-functional interdependencies across Sales, Deal Strategy, Legal, Billing, Collections, Accounting, FP&A, and IT.
  • Demonstrated success improving revenue and order-to-cash processes through automation, systems, data quality, operating cadence, and cross-functional governance, with experience across ERP, CRM, CPQ, billing, revenue automation, reporting, and AI-enabled workflow tools.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, simplify complex issues, make sound decisions in fast-moving environments, and translate technical and operational issues into clear executive recommendations.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including experience hiring, developing, and retaining senior talent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Experience supporting global scale with increasing business complexity, including consumption-based or hybrid-cloud revenue models.
