About the Role

Responsible for the safety and security of students, staff, and facilities at Iroquois Job Corps, a residential career training program for young people.

Responsibilities

  • Patrolling assigned areas on campus
  • Performing building security and safety checks
  • Conducting preliminary investigations (training provided)
  • Enforcing Center rules and regulations
  • Assisting staff and students in addressing issues, including de-escalation of behavior
  • Providing escort services as needed
  • Monitoring activities via camera surveillance systems

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Proficiency in computer software
  • Six months of experience in a security or security-related field
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
