About the Role
Stantec's multi-disciplinary industrial water team has an opportunity for a highly motivated Chemical EIT to join their Water practice. The successful candidate will be a member of a high performing project delivery team.
Responsibilities
- Develop process calculations, process flow diagrams & heat and mass balances
- Develop piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
- Perform hydraulic calculations
- Develop and Maintain engineering lists
- Develop process data sheets
- Write performance specifications
- Write documents and reports summarizing work performed, interpreting analytical results and observations, and providing engineering recommendations under the responsible charge of a fully licensed Professional Engineer
- Develop Project Cost Estimates (Engineering and Capital)
- Meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements
- Perform site inspections, construction observations, start up and commissioning support, and field observation report preparation
- Provide supporting documentation to assist with project permit applications preparations and processing
- Attend project meetings and perform other duties as assigned

Salary/Compensations
- In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
