About the Role
Ensuring a customer-centric, end-to-end, and seamless service for all global People Operations activities, including HR administrative tasks for starters, leavers, and changes. This role maintains HRIS systems for data accuracy and provides guidance to global teams on policies and support resources.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out daily vetting checks on candidates globally and running periodical vetting batch-checks.
- Managing DBS renewal checks, tracking renewal/expiry dates, and ensuring timely completion.
- Verifying and confirming right-to-work checks in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Assisting in the maintenance of internal databases and the HR Legal inbox.
- Liaising with global and country offices to provide prompt and thorough responses to employee vetting check requests.
- Escalating concerns to the Team Lead, People Operations as necessary.
- Providing regular communications and training to Country Offices to support the vetting process.
- Providing ad hoc administrative support to team members.
Requirements
- Previous general office administration experience.
- Previous experience using a system/database.
- Understanding of HR and recruitment processes.
- Understanding of the need for confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information and correspondence.
- Sound judgment and ability to effectively prioritize.
- Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experienced in developing and maintaining efficient filing systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, fluent in English.
- Evidenced ability to liaise and communicate effectively with a broad range of people at all levels, across different cultures, and to act with credibility, discretion, tact and diplomacy.
- Highly developed organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and work calmly under pressure to achieve deadlines.
- Some knowledge and understanding of legal and/or procurement practices.
