About the Role

Anrok is the leading tax automation platform enabling businesses to expand globally without compliance complexity. As the digital economy has grown, software businesses need to monitor exposure, calculate rates, and file returns across numerous jurisdictions. Anrok eliminates this complexity by automating tax monitoring, calculations, and filing end-to-end. This Senior Accountant role drives clean, timely, audit-ready books by owning assigned GL areas and improving the close process.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries across fixed assets, prepaid expenses and accruals, AP, cash, and corporate card activity
  • Own month-end reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts and resolve variances
  • Support the monthly and quarterly close calendar, identifying opportunities to compress the timeline
  • Manage the AP cycle end-to-end, including invoice coding, approval workflow, and payment runs
  • Partner with department heads to ensure accurate expense coding and policy compliance
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Own the corporate card program reconciliation and work cross-functionally to enforce T&E policy
  • Serve as a key contributor to the annual external audit, owning GL areas from PBC list through fieldwork
  • Help build and maintain accounting policies and internal controls documentation
  • Proactively identify manual, repetitive workflows and propose automation or system-driven solutions
  • Document processes as they are built

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of accounting experience; mix of public accounting and industry preferred
  • Experience participating in a system implementation or migration is a strong plus
  • Comfortable in ambiguity; the work evolves quickly
  • Detail-oriented with a systems mindset
  • Genuine curiosity about AI tools and how they can change accounting workflows
  • Familiarity with accounting systems such as Campfire ERP and Ramp
