About the Role

Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products. Assists sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for customer applications/solutions. May build mini-applications for feasibility demonstrations, requiring rapid prototyping or product demos. Offers software development and consultation to prospective users, and assesses/validates product capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and lead product penetration and adoption support, customer demonstrations, and head-to-head (H2H) activities at customer facilities.
  • Investigate semiconductor manufacturing yield issues and provide inspection solutions.
  • Create and share product value statements and use-cases with engineering, marketing, and sales groups.
  • Train customers and other applications engineers.
  • Manage new product introductions and characterization, beta testing, and early evaluation tools.
  • Work closely with worldwide applications teams, engineering, sales, and marketing within KLA, and with customer engineers outside of KLA.
  • Generate best known method documents and other training materials.
  • Transfer knowledge to KLA's worldwide Applications team and customers.
  • Develop solutions to customer problems.
  • Publish papers at industry symposiums or in technical journals.
  • Characterize next generation state-of-the art semiconductor wafer inspection products.
  • Craft test plans, collect data, perform analysis, and publish results and recommendations in applications notes and best known methods.
