About the Role

This role provides daily leadership to a manufacturing team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures while working alongside the team to meet daily manufacturing goals. The position is based in Glens Falls, specializing in Cath-Lab and Fluid Management products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily leadership to a small group of manufacturing employees.
  • Ensure the production team adheres to all company policies and manufacturing procedures.
  • Assign duties to the production team based on work orders.
  • Work side-by-side with the production team to complete daily manufacturing goals.
  • Provide daily job assignments and leadership to production teams.
  • Maintain and comply with all applicable company policies, manufacturing procedures, SOP’s, and cGMP’s.
  • Ensure all product quality specifications are met through all manufacturing steps.
  • Ensure all documentation and training is completed as required per manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Function as a working member of the production team, knowledgeable in all areas of line activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Assist with manufacturing equipment and production team set-ups.
  • Provide urgent communication to Production Coordinator/Supervisor of any equipment or operating deficiencies.
  • Assist Production Coordinator/Supervisor in resolving and dispositioning any nonconformance.
  • Interface with Production Coordinator/Supervisor to discuss schedule completion, staffing requirements, and quality and safety issues.
  • Communicate with and/or assist Production Coordinator/Supervisor with any material, equipment, maintenance, quality, and/or engineering needs for the manufacturing floor.
  • Promote the importance of positive attitudes and lead by example.
  • Support management in its decisions and encourage others to do so.
  • Direct Production Associates with questions related to company policies, procedures and other employment related concerns to the management team and/or Human Resources.
  • Ensure proper communication of appropriate information with the incoming shift's Production Lead/Production Coordinator/Supervisor.
  • Manage to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to actively communicate with Production Coordinator and/or Production Supervisor.
  • Must be proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to define and analyze problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must be able to work alone with minimal supervision or direction.
  • Ability to seek guidance with superior when necessary.
  • Ability to read, write and compute basic math.
  • Ability to take direction.
  • Demonstrated decision making skills and effective problem solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of correct machine set-up and operation to meet quality and efficiency standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret a variety of customized blue prints.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Work safely and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
  • For all on-the-job injuries or accidents, must notify manager/supervisor immediately.
  • Continual attention to the accuracy of documentation.

Salary/Compensations

  • $22.75 - $33.00 Hourly
