About the Role
Gain hands-on experience across multiple departments within a leading organization in logistics, operations, and business services. Interns will work on real projects, receive mentorship, and gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support departmental teams with daily operations and project-based assignments.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports or presentations.
- Assist in internal communications, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings, site visits, and cross-departmental shadowing opportunities.
- Learn about company systems, policies, and industry standards.
- Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and a willingness to contribute to team success.
- Follow up with sales team regarding the status of opportunities.
- Recap wins and share key insights.
- Monitor Intermodal and MedLog emails for relevant opportunities.
- Undertake various project tasks including quarterly tariff reviews, enhancing communication between MedLog and MSC, evaluating chassis programs, compiling missed opportunities, and making improvements to PowerBI.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Logistics, HR, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
- Willingness to learn and engage with diverse teams and work environments.
