About the Role

Rockstar Games is seeking an experienced product manager to help deliver world-class experiences to new and returning players. This role contributes to the platform that connects millions of players globally with live-service gaming experiences, including Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online. You will create, communicate, and execute the vision for our online platform and its underlying technologies.

Responsibilities

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and performance-focused product development.
Provide guidance and mentorship to other product managers.
Participate in development and deployment of backend systems to increase engineer iteration speed.
Manage and drive the product roadmap, aligning it with company goals, security standards, and player needs.
Stay current with DevOps trends and technologies and apply that knowledge to platform engineers.
Communicate technical and business requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Translate complex technical concepts into understandable requirements for cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in platform resiliency by reviewing and optimizing performance and scalability strategies.

Requirements

12+ years of professional experience in product management in gaming or technology, or an adjacent field.
Extensive experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Demonstrated experience with games development, its relevant tools and considerations, preferably with focus on online multiplayer games.
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of modern cloud (public and private) infrastructure best practices.
Ability to influence stakeholders across various organizations without explicit authority.
Aptitude for working iteratively to support evolving stakeholder visions.
