About the Role
The Trade Desk is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join the Marketplace TAM team. This role focuses on onboarding, integrating, and supporting partnerships, while collaborating with Product to enhance the partner experience through scalable technology. You will identify development opportunities, strengthen technical integrations, expand solution adoption, increase data utilization, and drive platform growth and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Onboard, integrate, and support Marketplace partnerships.
- Collaborate with Product to improve the partner experience through scalable technology.
- Identify development opportunities through collaboration with advertisers.
- Work directly with partners to strengthen technical integrations.
- Expand solution adoption and increase data utilization.
- Drive platform growth and revenue.
- Collaborate with Data Partnerships business managers to understand partner strategies and priorities.
- Shape technical roadmaps and recommend integration enhancements.
- Prioritize development opportunities that support mutual business growth.
- Diagnose complex integration challenges and deliver scalable solutions.
- Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and business audiences.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding partners toward integration strategies.
- Identify opportunities to expand technical capabilities and maximize partner value.
- Lead complex, cross-functional integration initiatives from planning through execution.
- Establish timelines, manage risks and dependencies, and coordinate stakeholders.
- Drive projects to successful completion with attention to detail.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and initiative.
- Independently manage competing priorities and remove blockers.
- Act as the voice of the data partner by partnering with Product and Engineering teams.
- Communicate business priorities, technical requirements, and integration challenges.
- Synthesize partner feedback into actionable insights to influence product direction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a technical client- or partner-facing role.
- 2+ years of adtech or a related industry.
- Experience with SQL, REST APIs, and web technologies or programming languages.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to improve productivity or technical workflows is a plus.
- Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience working with clients, product, and engineering teams.
- Ability to break down complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university.
