About the Role

Join our Tower Hamlets Reset Recovery Team as a Volunteer! As a Recovery Support Volunteer, you'll work alongside Recovery Coordinators to support individuals throughout their treatment and recovery journey. You'll help people build confidence, overcome challenges, and move towards a healthier future.

Responsibilities

• Support assessments, recovery plans, and risk management activities.
• Provide one-to-one support and recovery-focused interventions.
• Help service users achieve their personal recovery goals.
• Encourage engagement with recovery activities and community support.
• Work towards managing a small caseload of low-risk clients.
• Record and maintain accurate case notes and service records.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and non-judgemental approach.
• Good organisational and IT skills.
• Ability to work well with a range of professionals and services.
