About the Role
Learn It Systems is seeking a tutor to join a growing, interdisciplinary team of professionals focused on creating exceptional learning experiences for children in need. This role involves working with school districts to deliver high-quality education services in reading, mathematics, and/or writing to students in a small group or one-on-one setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher with students needing additional support.
- Provide tutoring in reading and math for grade levels K-8.
- Deliver educational services in reading, mathematics, and/or writing.
- Work with students in a small group/one-on-one learning environment.
Requirements
- Associates degree.
- Teaching assistant or experience working with students.
- Fingerprinting by Department of Education required.
- Completion of SAVE School and Child Abuse Workshop required; prior completion a plus.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Must be able to go up and down stairs.
- Must have frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head.
- Must have hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer.
- Presently eligible to work in the United States.
