About the Role
Learn It Systems is seeking a Tutor to join a growing, interdisciplinary team of professionals focused on creating exceptional learning experiences for children in need. This role involves working with school districts to deliver high-quality education services in reading, mathematics, and/or writing to students in a small group or one-on-one setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher by working with students who need additional support.
- Provide tutoring in reading and math for grade levels K-8.
- Work within an educational team consisting of fellow educators, a Program Aide, and an Area Manager.
Requirements
- Experience teaching or tutoring.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Must be able to go up and down stairs within a school building.
- Must have frequent standing and the ability to raise arms above the head.
- Must possess hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer.
- Must be presently eligible to work in the United States.
Skills
- Special Education experience preferred
- Bilingual preferred
