About the Role

As a core member of our distribution team, you will work as a team in a fast-paced environment to meet departmental minimum requirements for units per hour and accuracy while picking orders in our frozen warehouse. Perry's will support your goals through feedback, education, and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team in a fast-paced environment to meet departmental minimum requirements for units per hour and accuracy
• Work in our frozen warehouse picking orders
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly
• Ability to work in an extreme cold environment reaching temperatures below -20oF
• Capable of pushing/pulling up to 2000 lbs. for an extended amount of time (on carts, dollies, pallets) within temperatures of -20oF
• Must be able to stand and walk for upwards of 12 miles per shift while maintaining footing on icy/slippery floors
• Ability to use proper lifting/bending techniques from ground level to over the head at times
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Successfully complete OSHA certification for powered industrial vehicles
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Capable of working as a team in a fast-paced environment to meet departmental minimum requirements for units per hour and accuracy
• Tolerance for working in a frozen, -20oF environment

• Flexibility to work daily overtime as needed
