About the Role
Provides clerical and administrative support to a departmental office or program, including recording concerts. Training will be provided for recording services. Evening (particularly Tuesday) and weekend shifts required.
Responsibilities
- Record music concerts and serve as stagehand/usher for concerts
- Perform office duties in support of faculty, staff, and/or student efforts, including word processing, data entry, maintaining files, processing mail, and duplication
- Gather, compile, and enter data, producing routine reports and documents
- Produce handouts, fliers, newsletters, brochures, manuals, and other documents
- Answer the telephone, route calls, or take messages; respond to and/or direct inquiries in person or on the telephone
- Input budget figures, prepare requisitions, log and track expenditures, take payments, or issue invoices or bills
- Maintain tracking systems and logs
- Operate office equipment such as copiers and fax machines
- Work safely and follow safety rules. Report unsafe working conditions and behavior. Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices.

- Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds
- Employees are required to maintain a domicile in the State of Texas while working for the college and throughout the duration of employment
- As required by the US Department of Education, employees are required to report violations under Title IX and, under the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), select individuals are required to report crimes
- If this position is identified as a Campus Security Authority (Clery Act), you will be notified, trained, and provided resources for reporting
