About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key contributor to the FP&A supply chain team, providing planning, analytical, and reporting support to executives. This role partners with Supply Chain and Transportation teams, the broader Finance function, and other stakeholders to understand results and offer insights. It's ideal for those excited to analyze financial results and influence decisions through storytelling.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and timely budgets and forecasts, monitor results versus budget/forecast, and analyze variances.
Identify risks and opportunities with a focus on providing meaningful/actionable insights.
Produce insightful, analytical commentary and reporting to aid financial and non-financial stakeholders in decision-making.
Build and improve financial models for regular reporting and ad hoc analysis, aiming to increase automation and streamline reports.
Manage data and data mining to translate financial data into actionable insights.
Support evolving financial performance reporting needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and process changes.
Act as a trusted business partner to Transportation, finance, and retail business teams.

Requirements

University degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, or a business-related discipline.
Currently pursuing or have obtained an accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA).
Minimum of 3-5 years in a business or financial analysis role.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Experience with building and improving financial models.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
Strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), and presentation skills.
Attention to detail, organized, motivated self-starter.
Ability to thrive in an environment responsive to changing business requirements.
Team player and open to new challenges.
