About the Role
CACI is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst III to support initiatives combating evolving threats, advancing operational rehearsal, and focusing on integration and experimentation, including Modeling and Simulation. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and application of models and simulations throughout the lifecycle of military and commercial technologies, ensuring Warfighter readiness and future capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical systems analysis and engineering support for advanced Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) simulation environments and multi-domain operations supporting Department of Defense (DOD) missions.
- Work on system-of-systems (SoS) integration, experimentation, and modeling and simulation support for all branches of the Armed Services, multiple Program Offices, and Combatant Commanders.
- Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions for complex applications, system administration, or network concerns.
- Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations.
- Support infrastructure development and maintenance for modeling and simulation systems in designated Government facilities.
- Provide technical expertise for event/exercise infrastructure, services, and applications including systems integration and systems security administration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineers, network architects, software developers, and government stakeholders.
- Support Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) simulation environments and associated M&S tools.
- Analyze and recommend commercially available software solutions.
- Support systems engineering activities throughout the full lifecycle of assigned weapon systems, programs, and projects.
- Assist with verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) of solutions developed or leveraged by DEVCOM and DOD customers.
- Participate in technical reviews, exercise support, field tests, and preoperational reviews.
Requirements
- Associate of Arts (AA) degree or 2-year technical school diploma.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or 5 years experience in lieu of degree.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with systems management and integration.
- Knowledge of computer system capabilities, workflow analysis, and scheduling limitations.
- Ability to analyze and recommend commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software solutions.
- Understanding of network and data communications fundamentals.
- Proficiency with system administration concepts and practices.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance.
