About the Role
FanDuel is seeking a Compensation Senior Analyst to support the business by assisting in planning, designing, implementing, and communicating compensation policies and practices. This role will leverage data analysis and creative problem-solving to support a complex and growing business.
Responsibilities
- Participate in compensation surveys, collect data, and analyze results to ensure market competitiveness.
- Support annual compensation cycles (Merit, Bonus, Long Term Incentive) by verifying data, ensuring performance rating completion, and analyzing distribution and budget.
- Develop compensation program communications for management and employees.
- Collaborate with Compensation Partners, HR Managers, and Talent Acquisition on employee matters.
- Review statutory requirements governing compensation administration for compliance.
- Conduct job analysis and review position descriptions for appropriateness and classification.
- Lead compensation-related projects as needed.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis for special studies, legal, and leadership requests.
- Mentor and guide less experienced Compensation Analysts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in compensation preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and auditing (SOX compliance requirements).
- Exposure to data analysis programming languages (SQL, Python, VBA, Tableau, etc.) preferred.
- Workday and HRIS system configuration experience strongly preferred.
- Exposure to and curiosity for Artificial Intelligence tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and Co-Pilot, etc.).
- Results oriented with natural curiosity to solve-problems and come up with actionable solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity.
- Continuous improvement focus; ability to deconstruct processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes using AI tools.
- Strong attention to detail and an analytical bent.
- Ability to consolidate and work with large volumes of data.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- CCP course completion or similar certification preferred.
- Interest in Fantasy Sports and/or Sports Gaming preferred.
