About the Role

This position provides safe transport for patients to and from the campus, utilizing campus vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical patient transport to and from Wellbridge property.
- Maintain vehicle maintenance log; check vehicle for damage and problems daily, prior to use.
- Operate vehicle in a safe, responsible manner, follow all “rules of the road” and NYS and Wellbridge regulations.
- Keep the vehicle clean and trash free, schedule vehicle for carwash.
- Immediately notify supervisor when involved in a motor vehicle accident or an incident regarding patient pick up, drop off.
- In conjunction with maintenance and security, take vehicle for repairs, routine maintenance, and annual state inspections.
- Maintain a safe and caring environment, delivering care in a culturally sensitive manner and consistent with Wellbridge mission, vision, and values.
Requirements
- Must produce and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Wellbridge’s Driver Criteria Policy.
- Must meet all requirements and standards of Wellbridge’s Driver Criteria Policy upon hire and during employment.
- Valid CPR/BLS Certification.
