About the Role

Wellbridge is committed to creating an environment where those struggling with substance use disorders can find hope, healing, and a path toward recovery. We believe in prioritizing patient-centered care, ensuring that each person who walks through our doors receives the utmost compassion and support on their journey to wellness. This position provides safe transport for patients to and from the campus, utilizing campus vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical patient transport to and from Wellbridge property.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance log; check vehicle for damage and problems daily, prior to use.
• Operate vehicle in a safe, responsible manner, follow all “rules of the road” and NYS and Wellbridge regulations.
• Keep the vehicle clean and trash free, schedule vehicle for carwash.
• Immediately notify supervisor when involved in a motor vehicle accident or an incident regarding patient pick up, drop off.
• In conjunction with maintenance and security, take vehicle for repairs, routine maintenance, and annual state inspections.
• Maintain a safe and caring environment, delivering care in a culturally sensitive manner and consistent with Wellbridge mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• Must produce and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Wellbridge’s Driver Criteria Policy.
• Must meet all requirements and standards of Wellbridge’s Driver Criteria Policy upon hire and during employment.
• Valid CPR/BLS Certification.
