About the Role
The Retail North Lead is a part-time position responsible for supporting Custom Shop, web order pick-up, and graduation services. This role involves using warehouse management and POS systems, upholding customer service standards, mentoring sales associates, and maintaining operational organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Custom Shop processes, including execution and inventory management.
- Mentor and train part-time sales associates on Custom Shop procedures and expectations.
- Maintain and support operational consistency through training and daily oversight.
- Provide customer service support by addressing Custom Shop-related questions, concerns, and inventory issues.
- Ensure daily cleaning and organization of all Custom Shop areas.
- Oversee and maintain the Web Pick-Up area, ensuring it is organized and fully operational.
- Support order management by following established procedures and maintaining organization throughout all pick-up zones.
- Troubleshoot order issues and assist with customer concerns as needed.
- Ensure daily cleaning and organization of all Web Pick-Up areas, including non-customer-facing spaces.
- Empower team members to take ownership of their roles by delegating tasks, following up, and providing constructive feedback.
- Lead and mentor sales associates by exemplifying core values, demonstrating customer service standards, and ensuring SOPs are followed.
- Recognize when sales associates need guidance or support and proactively offer assistance.
- Support driving the business.
- Open and close the store.
- Handle cash responsibilities including drawer counts.
- Support the team as floor manager and handle general operational needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Sales associate experience required.
- Communicate with internal and external partners.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to move about and ascend/descend stairs, ramps, and ladders.
- Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (able to identify and distinguish colors).
- Continuous standing, walking, using stairs, hearing, speaking, bending, crouching, and working in close proximity with others.
