About the Role
Join our Tower Hamlets Reset Recovery Team as a Volunteer! Help people find their voice, build confidence, and connect through the power of music. Support people on their recovery journey through music, while gaining experience in group facilitation and programme development.
Responsibilities
- Help develop and shape our music programme.
- Promote sessions and encourage participation.
- Support the planning and delivery of music activities.
- Co-facilitate groups, discussions, and creative exercises.
- Provide one-to-one support where needed.
- Welcome and support clients during sessions.
- Assist with trips to music and community events.
- Help build confidence, reduce isolation, and encourage recovery through music.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level.
Skills
- Interest in music, singing, instruments, songwriting, or music production.
- Great communication and people skills.
- Positive, encouraging, and non-judgemental attitude.
- Confidence, reliability, and enthusiasm to support others.
