Responsibilities
- Set up snow-guns and hosing
- Ensure all guns and hoses in an area open to skier traffic are operational and properly marked with hazard poles or fencing
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Operate snowmobiles and ATVs safely, adhering to Bristol Mountain's expectations and training
- Fuel snowmobiles and ATVs at the end of each shift
- Perform mechanical checks on snowmobiles and ATVs, reporting any maintenance needs to the supervisor
- Report necessary equipment repairs to the supervisor
- Immediately report any incidents, property damage, or injuries to the supervisor and Human Resources
- Clear ice and snow from sidewalks and the base area
- Shovel out lift tower pads and snowmaking hydrants
- Identify and avoid potential hazards
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull in excess of 100 lbs
- Must be able to balance and walk on slippery, uneven surfaces
- Must be able to tolerate cold and wet weather conditions
- Employment hours depend on business demands
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
