About the Role

Play a critical role in ensuring the effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks, savings, and opportunities within Alstom's projects. You will work closely with teams across the business, facilitate workshops, and provide actionable insights through robust risk reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the consolidated Risk and Opportunity Register.
  • Lead quantitative risk analyses to inform target pricing and schedule planning.
  • Ensure project members are trained in Risk Management through seminars and training courses.
  • Support project teams in identifying and assessing risks, opportunities, and mitigation actions.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions for risk, saving, and opportunity identification.
  • Collaborate with risk owners to define, implement, and monitor mitigation actions.
  • Develop scoring rationales for risks and opportunities, and integrate them into project schedules and budgets.
  • Perform integrated quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses using Risk Management software.
  • Deliver clear, actionable risk reporting and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report risk KPIs and ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in risk management.
  • Experience with Monte Carlo Risk Assessment tools.
  • Proficiency in QCRA and QSRA for multi-million-dollar railway or infrastructure projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills for risk and opportunity assessments.
  • Project management experience.
  • Good knowledge of railway products and systems.
  • Experience working with internal processes (Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, and their interfaces).
