About the Role

This role focuses on GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) within cyber security, involving client engagements to conduct cyber risk assessments, enhance security control maturity, define secure solutions, and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead engagements delivering cyber risk assessments.
• Improve security control maturity.
• Define secure solutions.
• Ensure compliance.
• Deliver small to medium cyber security work-streams or engagements.
• Understand business and information risk context of customers.
• Judge risk at a technical and business process level.
• Review effectiveness of security controls.
• Propose proportionate security improvements and mitigations.
• Analyze and research security technologies to support innovative solutions.
• Work and collaborate with account teams to identify new opportunities.
• Support the production of quality proposals.

Requirements

• Ability to articulate and pitch security advice, often at a technical level, directly to key customer stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Can document and articulate to customer stakeholders how to manage cyber security risk utilizing a structured approach based on industry framework.
• Must achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
• Many roles require higher levels of National Security Vetting, typically requiring 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK.
