About the Role
Individual will perform skilled maintenance, installation, and repair work on buildings and building equipment, including HVAC systems, refrigeration, electronic controls, and more.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled tests and inspections.
- Determine necessary work on building equipment and fixtures, including HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, electronic controls, compressed air systems, water cooled chillers, DDC building automation systems, DX systems, and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Perform skilled work in connection with the installation, removal, operations, and maintenance of buildings, building equipment, and other related physical plants.
- Respond to emergency situations to meet customers' needs as part of the role, potentially involving Emergency Restoration assignments outside of normal responsibilities, work hours, and location.
Requirements
- Five years of related experience in Mechanical / HVAC system maintenance in a Commercial / Industrial environment required.
- Must possess a CT / S-1 or S-2 license.
- Applicants requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered.
- Bargaining unit Teal Book employees with contractual rights to this position will be given first consideration.
