About the Role

As a Presales Consultant, you will be responsible for technical consulting and support for colleagues and their customers throughout Germany. You will participate in customer and partner discussions and coach, train, and support your colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Design individual hardware solutions for large and medium-sized customers with a focus on Hybrid Cloud, IT infrastructure, and as-a-Service offerings.
• Build trustworthy customer and partner relationships, including through on-site business travel.
• Deliver solution and product presentations in customer and partner meetings up to C-level.
• Act as 'Technical Lead', including coordination and delegation tasks during the entire project lifecycle.
• Train the sales team on product, solution, and methodology know-how.
• Participate in regular training to continuously expand expertise and knowledge.

Requirements

• Understanding of datacenter components, their interplay, and how IT is used to meet business requirements.
• Intrinsic motivation to understand IT infrastructure in detail and to continuously educate oneself.
• Understanding of technical innovations and trends and their impact on finding solutions to customer business problems.
• Solid knowledge of Hewlett Packard Enterprise solutions.
• Excellent questioning techniques and associated communication skills with colleagues, customers, and partners.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• High degree of responsibility and commitment.
• Project-oriented, team-oriented, and independent work style.
• Very good German and English language skills.
