About the Role
This position supports the Multi-Vendor Biomedical business with our clients. This position will be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, and service Biomedical Equipment at customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and service repair on equipment utilizing the service manual, OJT, OEM or 3rd Party training.
- Identify and resolve customer issues, providing appropriate communication and involving appropriate site service personnel.
- Maintain customer satisfaction as the primary goal, demonstrating ownership in difficult circumstances and showing a sense of urgency about delivering results.
- Establish priorities by assessing communicated priorities from the Site Manager, Site Team, or customer.
- Independently complete PMs, FCOs, installations, and all related tasks.
- Independently diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems.
- Resolve customer issues.
Requirements
- Must be able to work flexible hours (based on business needs to include overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations).
- Must be able to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials.
- Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Must be able to travel when needed to Accounts located within the area.
- Must reside within commuting distance to Kingston, NY.

Skills
- Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors and computer hardware including applications, programming, and systems functionality.
- Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
- Knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment.

Experience Level
- 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment
- General biomedical, patient monitoring, blood pressure monitors, defibrillators, or infusion pump experience highly preferred.
Education Level
- Associates degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience
- BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
Salary/Compensations
- $30.00 to $46.00 per hour
