About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and caring team member committed to supporting young scholars in a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment. You will work under the direction of lead teachers and school leadership to ensure classrooms run smoothly while supporting the social, emotional, and physical needs of our students.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily classroom routines including arrival, dismissal, transitions, meals, naps, and playtime
- Provide non-instructional support such as setting up materials, preparing spaces, and organizing supplies
- Assist scholars with basic care needs including bathroom supervision, diapering, and toileting support
- Monitor and reinforce positive behavior and classroom routines
- Circulate and observe during learning activities to provide assistance as instructed
- Communicate observations regarding scholar behavior, health, or safety to lead teachers
- Participate in required trainings and staff meetings
- Support whole-school events and daily operations
- Provide temporary classroom coverage for supervision purposes only
- Perform other duties as requested by school leadership
