About the Role

Perkins&Will Atlanta Landscape Architecture is seeking a talented Senior Designer passionate about creating thoughtful, innovative, and compelling outdoor environments. This role offers an opportunity to focus on design, collaborate with a talented team, and make a lasting impact on projects that shape communities.

Responsibilities

• Design and technical experience at a consistently high level of accomplishment.
• Exhibit strong conceptual thinking with an ability to communicate ideas both graphically and verbally.
• Develop and implement creative and innovative design ideas, concepts, and solutions while participating as an integral member of the design team.
• Understand and consistently execute all aspects of the design process and project complexities to proactively contribute to the overall success of the team while adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and living design.
• Maintain awareness of evolving landscape technology.
• Understand and respond to technical implications and design decisions.
• Execute drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Execute responsibilities on projects within the scope of schedule and budget.
• Experience with marketing pursuits, proposal preparation, and interviews.
• Experience with mentoring and leading support staff through design process.
• Coordinate effectively with partners, colleagues, and consultants throughout the design phases.
• Display a strong work ethic and desire to learn new skills in support of a growing landscape architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Portfolio required with resume (link or PDF). Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
