About the Role
The Brand Ambassador is responsible for generating sales by providing customers with an exceptional shopping experience. They act as the face and voice of the Company, build brand recognition, and promote products through meaningful customer engagement to increase brand awareness and generate sales. Brand Ambassadors are expected to role model company values and customer-first behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Consistently demonstrate customer-first selling standards to deliver a positive customer experience and achieve daily sales goals.
- Leverage company tools and technology to provide product knowledge, enhance customer engagement, and maximize sales.
- Support fellow employees by sharing knowledge, helping with tasks, and assisting in customer interactions.
- Suggest key looks and incorporate trends based on the customer’s individual style.
- Promote brand awareness and growth by introducing customers to additional brand channels.
- Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately, adhering to cash control procedures and customer service guidelines.
- Ensure returned merchandise is restocked, and damaged/defective merchandise is properly labeled and placed appropriately.
- Maintain company brand standards for size, style, stock, standards, and signage.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized sales floor, cash wrap, fitting room, and stockroom to ensure a safe and presentable store environment.
- Execute efficient and effective merchandise handling from shipment processing to replenishment, while maintaining backroom SOPs.
- Proactively resolve customer concerns in accordance with company policy, prioritizing customer satisfaction and partnering with leadership on escalated issues.
- Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to receive feedback and take appropriate action.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods, reach, bend, and stoop to handle products.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to perform all Essential Job Functions.
