About the Role

Argus Search is a specialized HR and Finance recruitment consultancy connecting top talent with leading companies in Berlin. We are exclusively representing a client seeking a motivated individual for the role of Consultant Finance within the Tech industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized financing solutions for complex IT infrastructures in close collaboration with internal subject matter experts.
• Advise national and international companies at the intersection of IT, Finance, and Procurement, focusing on economic and strategic optimization.
• Conceptualize, further develop, and implement efficient processes and practical solutions together with stakeholders from IT, Finance, and Purchasing, as well as interdisciplinary project teams.
• Analyze complex financing, technology, asset, and contract structures using specialized tools to identify optimization and savings potential, and prepare results for management and decision-makers.
• Collaborate closely with internal specialists and C-level/departmental decision-makers on the client side to successfully implement demanding transformation and financing projects.
• Create well-founded price and economic feasibility calculations, as well as business cases, as a basis for strategic investment decisions.
• Manage and support national and international tender processes, from preparing tender documents and coordinating with providers to structured offer evaluation and award recommendations.

Requirements

• Completed university degree with an economic focus (e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Engineering) or comparable commercial professional experience.
• Initial prior knowledge in one or more of the following areas is advantageous, but not a mandatory requirement: Consulting, Project Management, IT/Finance.
• Interest in topics related to IT infrastructure, finance processes, and new technologies.
• Analytical thinking with a strong affinity for numbers and processes, combined with communication skills and organizational talent, as well as the ability to structure complex issues and think across contexts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with project management tools.
• Fluent German language skills; good English skills are an advantage.
