About the Role
The Seasonal Concession Associate is responsible for preparing beverages, food, and merchandise items to sell to guests during events in a friendly and courteous manner. This position involves maintaining cleanliness, processing transactions, and assisting with work area setup and breakdown, adhering to food safety and guest relations standards.
Responsibilities
- Mixes, garnishes, and services alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests.
- Sells various food, beverage & merchandise items throughout the theatre and front-of-house.
- Prepares display merchandise & sells products to guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Assists stand leads and supervisors in the set-up of the assigned selling area.
- Verifies cash bank and completes a cashier’s worksheet in the money room.
- Notifies the Team Lead of product that requires replenishment during an event.
- Maintains a working knowledge of theatre policies and important locations.
- Answers and directs guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assists Team Lead in the closing down of concession and bar areas at the conclusion of an event.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintains Health Department standards and executes procedures.
- Adheres to TEAM training guidelines.
- Provides exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and team members, adhering to appearance and presentation guidelines.
Requirements
- Must be able to handle transactions without a register.
- Must be comfortable with heights.
- Must be able to complete daily and nightly inventory.
- Must be receptive to working outside in inclement weather and extreme temperatures.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to climb and descend multiple flights of stairs while carrying equipment or supplies.
- Must be able to work within an environment with loud noises and ever-changing visuals.
- Ability to stand and move about the theater throughout the duration of the shift.
Skills
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to multi-task and partner with asst. supervisors to handle customer service issues.
- Bartending license is a plus.
