About the Role
This position assists the Property Manager in effectively managing the property and assumes the Property Manager's responsibilities in their absence.
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate and organized resident records.
- Posts all rents, deposits, fees, and performs daily bank deposits.
- Prepares and delivers timely 90-60-30-day renewal notices to residents.
- Conducts recertification and background checks.
- Issues appropriate notices for late payments, evictions, and NSF checks.
- Prepares and updates reports as delegated by the Property Manager.
- Greets prospective residents, shows the property, and performs all necessary leasing functions per Foundation Communities criteria.
- Handles resident and vendor calls as delegated.
- Accepts service requests and routes them to maintenance.
- Inspects move-out and vacant units as requested by the Property Manager.
- Works cooperatively with Resident Services staff to support resident housing stability.
Requirements
- Possesses sound judgment to resolve problems and make routine recommendations.
- Requires little to no instruction on routine work and general instruction on new assignments.
- Onsite software experience is preferred.
- Fair Housing training is preferred.
