About the Role
Responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of the company’s business development strategy in cooperation with applicable company business units in specific geographic markets.
Responsibilities
- Works with management in establishing personal, growth, sales, and profit objectives.
- Provides input to objectives and performance measurement and control.
- Solicits new business from existing and prospective clients.
- Makes business development calls and maintains ongoing client relationships for cross-selling.
- Identifies new business opportunities and implements sales strategies.
- Assists in developing new commercial and municipal products and services.
- Actively calls on prospective and present clients to develop new business and resolve problems.
- Makes group sales calls to improve new business development opportunities.
- Conducts presentations to employee groups.
- Makes presentations of business services/products to various individuals or groups.
- Cross-sells business services/products.
- Arranges meetings with other company personnel as appropriate.
- Manages the implementation of successful sales processes for new products and services.
- Coordinates and increases sales of applicable products across all affected company units.
- Utilizes strong business acumen, judgment and maturity to differentiate strategic vs. non-strategic opportunities and makes recommendations.
- Functions as a resource for all personnel by developing a communication network that fosters teamwork.
- Conforms to General Performance Expectations.
- Provides high-level technical assistance and product support to Business clients.
- Responds to, strategizes and completes support requests submitted by bank employees and external clients in a timely manner.
- Completes proposals for complex requests for services.
- Protects the privacy of internal confidential information and ensures all procedures are followed to safeguard client non-public information.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years in a related position required.
- Ability to travel.
- Valid Driver’s License required.

Salary/Compensations
- $74,900 to $113,420 Annually
