About the Role
Responsible for managing the strategic and tactical aspects of assigned product portfolio to meet commercial market needs and strategic goals. Executes full product lifecycle processes including ideation, strategy, development, management, marketing, communication, commercialization, profitability, sales support, monitoring, and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Drives business and financial results through product selection, design, development, and promotion using traditional and emerging capabilities.
- Oversees and maintains existing Commercial payment products; develops and implements new or updated products with internal and external partners.
- Uses knowledge of emerging technologies to deliver products to clients through all applicable channels.
- Prioritizes and makes decisions regarding product recommendations.
- Assists in the development of business cases, business plans, and roll-outs for specific products or solutions.
- Monitors the marketplace for product, technology, and market trends to identify needs or opportunities.
- Recommends new products or enhancements to existing products and develops innovative features.
- Manages the development, production, roll-out, pricing, or promotion of assigned products.
- Recognizes, anticipates, and resolves operational and process problems.
- Partners with key stakeholders including sales, marketing, digital channel delivery, and other internal service partners.
- Participates in client-facing and external stakeholder activities to ensure product offerings meet strategic goals.
- Develops product-specific marketing initiatives.
- Supports risk management, compliance, and audit needs as part of the first line of defense.
- Drives business, financial, and client experience results of new and existing products and recommends modifications.
- Provides product training for sales, product staff, operational partners, and client support partners.
- Serves as a subject-matter-expert resource by providing training, orientation, and mentorship to less experienced team members.
- Observes all policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and risk limits specific to their role and reports violations.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years experience in Commercial payment, Treasury Management Services and/or commercial banking.
- Regular office environment.
- May sit for long periods of time.
- May stand for long periods of time.
- Talk and hear regularly.
- Climb, Bend, Kneel, Crouch, or Crawl Regularly.
- Use of hands, ability to reach.
- Ability to see objects up close or at a distance, use peripheral vision, identify basic colors.
- Up to 10 pounds weight lifting/force exertion required.
- Weight/force exertion required less than 25% of the time.
- Travel required less than 25% of the time.
- Driver's license not required.
