About the Role
The Leasing Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for prospective residents, responsible for showcasing property features, managing marketing efforts, and ensuring units are prepared for viewing to meet occupancy goals.
Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents and communicate property features professionally.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with residents and colleagues.
- Assess prospect preferences and budgets to recommend suitable apartment options.
- Promote leasing incentives and discounts.
- Prepare and submit weekly prospect reports to the Community Director.
- Maintain a minimum closing ratio of 33%.
- Update online advertising platforms daily with current pricing and availability.
- Record and maintain a daily engagement score of 90-100% in Knock.
- Monitor local market trends to ensure competitive positioning.
- Ensure vacated units are cleaned and prepared for prospective resident viewings.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Leasing Agent preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record in sales.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and lift over 20 pounds.
- Ability to conduct property tours.
