About the Role
Alter Domus is seeking a CLO Analyst to join our Credit and Structured Products team in our London offices.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of reconciliations and customized daily/monthly reporting packages.
- Act as primary point of contact for external counterparties regarding data tie outs and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Manage CLO lifecycle events and ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients to ensure team awareness of daily deliverables and expectations.
- Oversee junior staff, including training and development.
- Implement process improvements and ensure delivery of solutions.
- Develop a "big picture" mentality of daily portfolio reporting tasks, internal system usage, and client delivery.
- Ensure client and trustee agreed timeframes and deliverables are met per service level agreements.
- Prioritize, complete, and delegate tasks while providing high quality customer service.
- Apply experience and understanding of market and best practices when managing transactions and data flows.
- Develop leadership skills by participating in strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience within a business or financial service related role.
- Experience working in loan operations, credit/debt funds and/or CLO markets.
- Experience mentoring, managing workloads and training of team members.
- Ability to independently research and resolve problems.
- Responsive, friendly, professional, and highly organized communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Broad market knowledge and familiarity with Bloomberg, performance systems, and other analysis tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive within a high-volume environment with both proficiency and accuracy.
- Willingness to work within a deadline-driven environment.
