About the Role
The Global Custody Management Custodian Program Manager is responsible for onboarding and managing PCG custody relationships within a specific region. This role defines strategic custody priorities, ensures operational excellence, and serves as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external custodians, balancing daily execution with long-term strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Identify strategic opportunities to enhance custodian performance and improve processes.
- Serve as the primary relationship lead for assigned custodians, ensuring partnership success and service quality.
- Maintain and strengthen custodian relationships for high-quality service and mutual value.
- Manage the program in their region to meet business requirements and ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
- Operate cross-functionally, influencing stakeholders and initiatives impacting firm operations, client servicing, and business growth.
- Drive enhancements to GCM’s processes for evaluating custodian performance and service.
- Manage fee negotiations, contract reviews, and performance reports for assigned relationships.
- Prepare reporting and other deliverables impacting an entire country or region.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management.
- Support business growth through custody relationship management, including integration and management of all project phases.
- Evaluate and recommend solutions to resolve business problems, including escalation management.
- Assess requirements for program components, including implementation, staffing, timelines, and budgets.
- Lead cross-functional coordination with IT, Finance, Third Party Vendors, and Business Users.
- Proactively manage changes in program scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Create and manage vision and scoping documentation, program schedules, and project/vendor management checklists.
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise program team members and contractors.
- Oversee the onboarding and ongoing management of PCG custodians within assigned regions.
- Research and identify custodian prospects that meet Fisher’s requirements.
- Provide oversight of custody relationships, ensuring appropriate service levels.
- Oversee custodian service level agreements, provide feedback, and negotiate services/costs.
- Oversee the development of operational processes between the custodian and Fisher.
- Define program priorities within their region in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Partner with custodians to integrate priorities into their roadmaps and secure necessary approvals.
Requirements
- University Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 3 years of experience in specific field preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, internal clients, and other departments.
- Ability to react to program adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Highly-developed analytical ability.
- Able to interface with different departments within the company.
- Strong familiarity with change management and creative independent problem solving.
