Responsibilities

  • Contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns, enhancing long-term working relationships.
  • Prepare and self-review work products for completeness and accuracy, focusing on high-net-worth individuals, fiduciary tax, not-for-profit compliance, and entity tax filings.
  • Prepare work papers based on professional standards and process data into a reviewable product.
  • Assist in researching complex tax issues and developing quality, practical income tax planning services within a team environment.
  • Aid in preparing time-sensitive client requests and planning opportunities.
  • Facilitate communication and provide assistance to team members by sharing knowledge for professional development and enhanced service delivery.
  • Maintain a personal commitment to continuing education.
  • Contribute to a flexible, stable, and team-oriented working culture that fosters professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • 4-6 years of related work experience in a tax or family office practice, with an emphasis on individual and fiduciary experience.
  • Competencies including pass-through, gift tax, or not-for-profit experience.
  • Commitment to learning and developing in an exacting tax environment within a growth business.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in compliance technology applications including Pro Systems, BNA Income Tax planner, and Microsoft products.
  • Willingness to execute Corient’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be willing to work onsite 4 days per week.

  • $103,000 - $130,000 USD per year
