Responsibilities

  • Build and grow client portfolios through dedicated relationship management, trusted investment advice, and exceptional client service.
  • Work closely with Investment Advisors to manage portfolios and develop new business.
  • Engage with high-net-worth clients to offer support, uncover business opportunities, and improve the client experience.
  • Focus on each client's experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful.
  • Anticipate client needs and communicate promptly with the team to build trust and deepen client relationships.
  • Identify activities, processes, and opportunities to improve the client experience.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities for the team.
  • Support business development activities and assist in building investment plans based on client profiles, goals, and risk/reward tolerance.
  • Heighten CIBC brand awareness in the community by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities.
  • Grow your network to create lasting connections that will generate future opportunities.

Requirements

  • Certified professional with current accreditation and in good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID).
  • 3+ years of Brokerage industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of various quotation equipment.
  • Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location(s).
  • May be asked to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests.
