About the Role

The Finance Co-Op candidate will gain experience in financial accounting and analysis, sales & marketing finance, operations finance, and research and development finance. Other tasks may include analysis of financial questions and problems to provide insight to the organization.

Responsibilities

• Build key reports and dashboards for Senior Management.
• Complete month-end and ad-hoc reporting requirements for the Finance Team.
• Support presentation consolidation and development for business reviews.
• Support the Finance team in process automation.
• Support revenue and expense forecasting cycle requirements.
• Collaborate with internal business partners on financial analysis and reporting.
• Responsible for documentation activities to ensure a smooth transition.
• Support internal and external ad-hoc requests.

Requirements

• Completion of Undergraduate 1st year at an accredited University.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Majoring in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or related fields.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
• Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Possess strong Microsoft computer and Excel skills including financial modelling.
• Demonstrate a strong desire to learn about new technological solutions for financial reporting and accounting.
• Able to lead projects to implement insights that can result in process efficiencies.
• Demonstrate strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task effectively.
• Resourceful and inventive teammate.
• Ability to present complex information and analysis in a concise manner.
• Effective communicator with strong presentation and influencing skills.
• Possess excellent analytical skills with proven drive and a willingness to take ownership for tasks and responsibilities.
