About the Role
The Finance Co-Op candidate will gain experience in financial accounting and analysis, sales & marketing finance, operations finance, and research and development finance. Other tasks may include analysis of financial questions and problems to provide insight to the organization.
Responsibilities
- Build key reports and dashboards for Senior Management.
- Complete month-end and ad-hoc reporting requirements for the Finance Team.
- Support presentation consolidation and development for business reviews.
- Support the Finance team in process automation.
- Support revenue and expense forecasting cycle requirements.
- Collaborate with internal business partners on financial analysis and reporting.
- Responsible for documentation activities to ensure a smooth transition.
- Support internal and external ad-hoc requests.
Requirements
- Completion of Undergraduate 1st year at an accredited University.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Majoring in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or related fields.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Possess strong Microsoft computer and Excel skills including financial modelling.
- Demonstrate a strong desire to learn about new technological solutions for financial reporting and accounting.
- Able to lead projects to implement insights that can result in process efficiencies.
- Demonstrate strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task effectively.
- Resourceful and inventive teammate.
- Ability to present complex information and analysis in a concise manner.
- Effective communicator with strong presentation and influencing skills.
- Possess excellent analytical skills with proven drive and a willingness to take ownership for tasks and responsibilities.
