About the Role

The Avigilon Alta Video UI team is responsible for the mission-critical infrastructure that powers our VMS. We are currently evolving our platform to support deep-tier interconnection across the Motorola product portfolio. Our team values high-performance engineering, architectural integrity, and a commitment to building the most reliable real-time tools in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, develops, and maintains software for the organization’s products and systems.
• Develops, validates, and tests code, ensuring it is maintainable and debuggable.
• Implements state management patterns and API integrations to support a scaling ecosystem.
• Demonstrates a basic understanding of CI/CD principles, deployment, and Git.
• Communicates effectively, collaborating with other teams on solutions and seeking necessary information and requirements.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of software engineering experience.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• Understanding of application state patterns, data flows (e.g., Pinia, Vuex, or Redux), and reactivity/observables.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and websockets.
• Solid understanding of web development principles.
• A good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Ability to understand the long-term implications of solutions.
• Demonstrated team player skills and a willingness to work with others.
