About the Role

We are looking for a growth-focused Transfer Pricing Senior Manager to join our growing International Tax team.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a transfer pricing team in the local market.
  • Act as a growth catalyst and brand ambassador for RSM, bringing new clients and opportunities to the firm.
  • Actively participate in growth activities in the local market.
  • Expand services to existing clients of the firm, including transfer pricing and other tax, audit, and consulting services.
  • Run client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing, and completing tax and transfer pricing projects and managing to budget.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff on tax and transfer pricing projects and assess staff performance.
  • Evaluate and advise clients on intercompany transfers of tangible goods, intangible property, services, and loans.
  • Conduct financial and economic analyses of multinational and domestic corporations.
  • Perform industry and market research, economic valuations, comparative financial benchmarking, and report documentation.
  • Prepare and analyze financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance using MS Word, Excel, and various statistical sampling packages.
  • Review and analyze GAAP financial statements.
  • Contribute to thought leadership materials.
  • Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolve tax and transfer pricing related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.
  • Provide planning assistance, audit defense/resolution, and prepare documentation.
  • Manage teams to produce client deliverables.
  • Enhance technical skills by remaining up to date on trends, new legislative developments, and tax authority decisions, and apply them to complex client situations.

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
  • Requires one of the following: Enrolled Agent, Certified Public Accountant, Juris Doctor, Chartered Financial Analyst.
  • Requires an Advanced degree in Economics, Business, International Relations, International Affairs, Tax, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Requires a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive tax and transfer pricing experience in public accounting, consulting, or academia.
  • Requires experience in several of the following areas: transfer pricing documentation studies, transfer pricing planning and design, financial statements analysis, valuations, quantitative and competitive analysis, statistical sampling and econometrics, strategy evaluation, and/or operational performance analysis.
  • Requires experience with tax audits and dealing with tax authorities.
  • Requires four years of supervisory experience.
  • Requires ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to local client sites.
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in GAAP.
  • Strong research and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software and technology.
  • Strong English speaking and writing skills.
  • Excellent managerial, organizational, project management, analytical and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Interest in expanding market development skills.
