About the Role
The CloudOps Intern will support strategic cloud services operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Network Operations, Security, and Technical Support to manage day-to-day cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day cloud operations and support activities
- Support provisioning and management of cloud resources including virtual machines, storage, and networking
- Monitor cloud resource health, performance metrics, and service alerts
- Assist with user access management and RBAC administration
- Support backup, patching, maintenance, and operational tasks
- Assist in developing and maintaining IaC templates and automation scripts
- Collaborate with CloudOps, DevOps, and platform teams on deployments and projects
- Participate in FinOps activities including cost monitoring and resource utilization analysis
- Assist in preparing cloud usage, cost, and operational reports
- Create and maintain documentation for cloud environments and procedures
Requirements
- Must be a current student
- Completed 3 years of a 4-year University program, preferably in Technology
- Basic understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Openness to learning new cloud technologies and tools
- Must submit resume, cover letter, and unofficial transcript in one document
- Must pass a criminal background check and credit check
