About the Role

KRUSH Tech is seeking a Materials Director to lead and oversee all site-level materials functions, including planning, procurement, supply chain execution, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics. This role is critical in building an integrated materials strategy to support operational execution, customer satisfaction, inventory performance, and financial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all site materials functions to ensure alignment with operational requirements and business priorities.
  • Provide direction and leadership to the Supply Chain Manager, Planning Manager, Procurement Manager, and Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
  • Establish and align site-wide material planning strategies to support production continuity, customer demand, and capacity requirements.
  • Oversee the end-to-end flow of materials, from supplier delivery through warehousing, internal distribution, and support to production lines.
  • Ensure materials are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the most effective cost while maintaining required quality and service standards.
  • Drive inventory strategy and control processes with a strong focus on inventory accuracy, working capital performance, and reduction of excess and obsolete materials.
  • Support high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring effective coordination between internal functions and customer requirements.
  • Partner closely with operations, quality, engineering, program management, finance, and commercial teams to ensure alignment across the business.
  • Ensure robust inventory control through cycle count programs, reconciliation processes, stock accuracy improvements, and materials governance.
  • Oversee shipping, warehouse, and logistics performance to ensure finished goods are delivered accurately and supported by proper documentation.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve policies, procedures, systems, and controls related to materials management.
  • Review and approve purchasing decisions, material-related change notices, and key escalations as required.
  • Ensure supplier-related claims, contracts, and materials decisions are aligned with company policies, service expectations, and business objectives.
  • Lead the disposition strategy for surplus, slow-moving, and obsolete materials.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning, procurement, logistics, inventory, and supply chain processes.
  • Support site and corporate strategic objectives through strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and disciplined execution.
  • Travel as needed to support customers, suppliers, and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Typically requires 10–12 years of experience in materials management, supply chain, procurement, planning, logistics, or related operational functions.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multiple materials-related functions through direct and indirect teams.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, material flow, procurement, demand/supply planning, warehousing, and logistics operations.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for customer service, operational continuity, and financial performance.
  • Lean Supply Chain training is preferred.
  • Master’s degree in a related field is an advantage.
