About the Role
KRUSH Tech is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the organization’s purchasing activities, ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and strategic acquisition of materials, components, and services. This role oversees supplier management, purchasing performance, and processes for both existing business and new product introduction, playing a key part in shaping the company from day one.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to delivery, quality, capacity, responsiveness, and service levels.
- Collaborate with planning, supply chain, warehouse, engineering, quality, and operations teams to align purchasing activities with production requirements.
- Support new product introduction by ensuring early supplier involvement and timely sourcing of components.
- Lead the resolution of supply-related escalations, shortages, and continuity risks, developing mitigation and recovery plans.
- Review and approve purchase plans, recommendations, and decisions.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through quotation analysis, supplier consolidation, and negotiation.
- Ensure procurement processes and supplier-related documentation comply with internal procedures.
- Track and report procurement KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with finance and materials teams to support inventory targets and working capital performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop the purchasing team to strengthen performance and accountability.
- Support purchasing planning for current and future business needs, including supply base optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically requires 8+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, including leadership responsibility.
- Strong experience in supplier negotiations, commercial management, and supply chain operations.
- Background in managing direct materials, components, and supplier relationships in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting new product introduction, supplier readiness, and purchasing activities for ongoing and new programs.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, cost analysis, supplier performance management, and risk mitigation.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to develop teams and drive results through collaboration and accountability.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, purchasing tools, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma).
Experience Level
- 8+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, including leadership responsibility.
Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
